Series documents communications between the State Library and public libraries throughout Oregon concerning annual reports and statistical compilations prepared by the public libraries. Series includes a survey, report, and questionnaire on the professional status of librarians in 1934. another survey, 1936-1937, examined the holdings, personnel, salaries, income, expenditures, and circulation of libraries in Oregon. The statistics include population, number of volumes, circulation, receipts, and expenditures. Reports for 1939-1942 are missing.
